ROCKWOOD
Retaining Walls have an automatic 7.1° setback. The amount
of setback can vary from 7.1° setback to 0° setback and can
be adjusted in two ways: (1) during manufacturing of the units,
or (2) during the construction process.
- To adjust the setback during construction, the outer end
of the backside of the face unit is chipped away as shown.
Chip between the two score marks provided. The depth of
the chip will determine the change in the setback. Remember:
"depth" is measured from front to back (not top
to bottom).
- This allows the upper unit to move forward toward the
face of the wall. The more that is chipped and removed,
the more the anchor bar can move forward, and therefore,
the less the amount of setback.
