When
a wall ends at a sloped embankment or when a wall branches
(one part of a wall turns into an embankment and another part
of the wall continues on), proper support for the wall is
essential.
- For walls that end at a sloped embankment, the lower
course of units should extend a minimum of two units into
the embankment. The units going into the embankment should
have the same site preparation as regular walls (see Site
Preparation). This provides proper support for
the next course of units.
