- Lay up the succeeding courses making sure that the anchor
bar of each unit on the upper course is laid against the
backside of the two faces of the lower course.

- Center the upper unit above the two lower units, and
pull forward as far as possible. The anchor bar will prevent
the upper unit from coming too far forward.

- After each course is complete, fill all cavities with unit
fill and compact. Unit fill should be used 12" behind the
unit as well as in the openings between the units. Do
not install an additional course without backfilling the
previous course
Continue installing each successive course, first by
carefully placing and aligning each unit and then by backfilling
with unit fill.
If geogrid is required, follow the instructions for
geogrid installation as per construction drawings, per
manufacturer's guidelines or per consulting engineer.
