NorthCountryNow.com wins first place award for 'Online Excellence'
The New York Press Association has recognized NorthCountryNow.com with a first place award for "Online Excellence."
Competing with community, mostly paid weekly newspapers from across the state, the award presentation for North Country This Week’s web site took place at the association’s spring convention in Albany.
"Very colorful. Main page has lots of content," said the NYPA judges in presenting the award. "Tons of community pictures! Very easy to navigate thanks to links on the left; links to "Explore Northern New York" including schools and tourist info are great."
Launched five years ago, NorthCountryNow.com
has grown to become the most-viewed web site for local information in St. Lawrence County.
